I always look forward to attending classes planned and instructed by Nazareth, as they are at once welcoming, engaging, encouraging, calming and of course, fun. Nazareth has a relaxing quality in her voice assisting her students in settling fully into poses. Her cues are always well paced and detailed with information explaining options and sensations that her students may be feeling. It is clear that Nazareth places a great deal of thought into developing class routines. She gives much consideration to developing skills within her students that create the groundwork for advancement to more challenging asanas. Nazareth is a consummate Yoga instructor. I started yoga with Nazareth about a year ago after I had my daughter and suffered from diastasis recti. I’m so happy I found her.
She’s funny, understanding, silly, and so patient.
I was always afraid to join a yoga class because I knew nothing about yoga and I felt like I didn’t have the physique or strength to do any of the poses. She worked with me and she even modified the poses to work with my body so I wasn’t in pain and I could actually enjoy her class.
If you’ve never done yoga and are looking to start Nazareth is your girl! She’s (I’m convinced) magic.
Nazareth is funny, frank, and intelligent in her online presence, and is asking interesting questions about how we approach yoga practice and teaching today. How she has shared her journey of ongoing education and healing around pelvic floor pain has been inspirational to me.
I think Nazareth is embodying the essence of the yoga renaissance movement toward transparency, evolving based on new information, and cross-disciplinary curiosity in a beautiful and accessible way.
I can’t recommend Yoga with Nazareth enough! Seriously! I’m currently 1 year out from brain surgery. Brain Tumor survivor, My form of fitness prior to my diagnosis and surgery was running and power lifting. I recently felt I had to get my body moving again. Surgery does crazy things to your body. I was sad to see powerlifting go but was super intrigued to try yoga. Now I love it!!!! Nazareth has played a HUGE part in this journey. I was afraid Yoga was going to be this super tough, yell at you if you are not perfect kind of thing. So happy to say my experience has been nothing of that sort. Yoga with Nazareth has allowed me to leave it at the door, focus on me and really start to trust my body again and see all the amazing things it can still be capable of.
Nazareth makes even a first time yoga participant feel comfortable and confident. As an instructor she encourages you, pushes you and offers expert instruction. I highly recommend her!
